On June 22, (Friday), approximately a dozen people graced the steps of city hall to announce a drive to collect 15,000 signatures asking the mayor to run for president as an Independent. However, the coordinator for the petition drive, Frank Morano, forgot to tell the members of the media present that he is on the City Council payroll. He works for the newly minted Staten Island Republican Council Member , Vincent Ignizio. As far as one knows, Friday is a working day. Was Mr. Morano working for the mayor or for the City Council?
