After being exiled in April from Mayor Bloombergs news conference at the Blue Room in City Hall, Rafael Martinez Alequin was allowed to be present at a recent news conference. However, the billionaire mayor ignored him totally. He took no questions. Michael Bloomberg is not only the Mayor of New York City, but also he is also a media magnate. He practices censorship, like the Soviet Union, Iraq, and many other dictators around the world that get annoyed when journalists ask probing questions.

This is not only an issue that affects this writer, but an issue that must be dealt with in the twenty-first century. With the advent of the Internet, there are many journalist that are constantly informing the public about issues that pertain to government and politics. When the rights of one journalist are denied, they are denied to all. Watch Bloomberg ignore Alequin's questions at the following news conference:
