Nsamwa Lungo is a whistle blower. She was employed as a nurse at Forest Hills Hospital in Queens until she began to complain. Nsamwa alleges that Forest Hills allowed chemotherapy patients to receive treatment in the same room as highly infectious patients. Her argument is that chemo patients are highly vulnerable to disease while under going treatment. She claims to have a list of 63 individuals who were affected by the exposure to other infected patients.
It appears that no one listened. She was subsequently dismissed and allegedly blacklisted when she sought other employment. Attorneys would not take her case due to her residential status. Day by day, her financial resources dwindled away as well as her emotional state. As a single mother of two, she risked all in an attempt to expose the alleged wrong doings at Forest Hills Hospital. Now......perhaps someone, somewhere will listen and help.
