Six Members of Congress Ask Holder to Open Federal Inquiry in Chokehold Case

Six Democratic members of New York City’s congressional delegation have asked Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. to open a federal investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Eric Garner in police custody and the Police Department’s “broken windows” approach to policing.
